Pappa Charlie’s Bakehouse is a family-owned and operated traditional Lebanese bakery, conveniently located on High Street. The bakery’s namesake belongs to the family’s patriarch, who migrated to Australia and worked tirelessly to provide for his family, affording his children the opportunity to follow their dreams and open their own business.
“We were born and raised in Penrith and love the culture and the people here. We wanted to bring something new, different and exciting to Penrith as it is becoming a very diverse and multicultural community, we wanted to give people a taste of what Lebanon is all about”.
The meals at Pappa Charlie’s Bakehouse are authentically Lebanese with options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and catering. With delivery services and online ordering through their website available, why not give their Zaatar Oregano a try?
Lonestar Penrith is a community-based franchise, located by the River on Tench Reserve and is helmed by a team with a “love for local”. Currently in their second year of operation, in addition to being proud sponsors of local rugby league and union clubs, including the mighty Penrith Panthers, the entire team is invested in contributing to the culture of Penrith and delivering a memorable experience for their diners.
This includes showcasing their support of live music (when dine-in is permitted), “to assist the rise in culture and energy across hospitality, we employ live music talent from Wednesday through to Sunday. We not only want to showcase our support for live talent, but we want to present to our local community that we believe we can be stronger than our darkest days. We pride ourselves in hosting functions and large group bookings. We frequently put on “WOW” events”. Despite the hardships brought on by the pandemic, the team is hinting that they have some exciting things planned for late 2021!
We have so many delicious dining options available in our local area covering a range of cuisines including Sip n Dip Café in St Marys, Platform T8 opposite Penrith Station, Zofia Café and Himalaya Penrith located on High Street, so be sure to check out the Penrith Proud business directory for further information on how you can support and dine local.
